Many Thanks to The Oregon Community Foundation!- Centro LatinoAmericano is the proud recipent of $25,000 from the R.W. Family Fund, Michael Mooser Fund, and the Shelton H. and Mary I. Duff Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation. This grant will provide short-term emergency operating support to Centro LatinoAmericano during implementation of a long-range strategic plan.
The mission of The Oregon Community Foundation is to improve life in Oregon and promote effective philanthropy. OCF works with individuals, families, business and organizations to create charitable funds to support the community causes they care about. Through these funds OCF awards more than $60 million annually in grants and scholarships.
Increasing Health Care Access for Latino Families in Lane County- Through this project, Centro LatinoAmericano is working to increase access and awareness of healthcare options for the Latino population. Our clients can enroll their children in OHP Healthy Kids Program, gain access to local healthcare providers, and learn about our substance abuse treatment services.
