OREGON COMMISSION ON HISPANIC AFFAIRS DENOUNCES ARIZONA LAW AS “LEGALIZED DISCRIMINATION”
Posted on: May 21
Oregon constituents are urged to contact their congressional representatives and demand that Congress and the White House act immediately for a just and comprehensive reform of immigration law, before another act of copycat legislation ensues in other States. “Without a shadow of a doubt, Arizona’s new law is inhumane, ineffective, and a shameful page in American history,” said Jose Ibarra, Chair of the Oregon Commission on Hispanic Affairs. “We cannot stand by the sidelines and allow this to happen.”
