We offer a number of ongoing educational opportunities at our community-based organization.

Citizenship Workshop

Dates: 6/21 - 8/25

Time: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Location: Mon and Wed at Centro LatinoAmericano

Prepare for citizenship exam and to become a US naturalized citizen. 10 week workshop begins on June 21.  Mondays and Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 pm. Cost: $25 for the entire workshop.

Computer Literacy

Dates: 6/23 - 8/25

Time: 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Location: Wed at Centro LatinoAmericano

Learn Windows, Microsoft applications, and navigating the Internet. Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 pm. Ten week session begins on June 23.  Cost: $20 for the entire session.

Conversational English

Dates: 6/28 - 8/25

Time: 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: Mon and Wed at Centro LatinoAmericano

Conversational English for more advanced students, Monday & Wednesday. Nine week session begins June 28. Free.

English for Beginners

Dates: 6/29 - 8/26

Time: 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: Tues and Thurs at Centro LatinoAmericano

First level of English as Second Language instruction. Tuesday & Thursday.  Nine week session begins on June 29. Free.

Guitar Lessons for Beginners

Dates: 6/23 - 8/25

Time: 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: Wed at Centro LatinoAmericano

Guitar lessons for beginners taught by Tito Amaya. Wednesdays 5:30pm-7:00pm. Ten week session begins June 23. Cost: $10 per class or $70 for 10 weeks.

Internet Access

Dates: 6/9 - 8/30

Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Location: Mon and Wed at Centro LatinoAmericano

Use our computers to access the Internet to search for a job, check your email, or any other reason. Volunteers are available to help you navigate through this process. Cost: $3/hour.

Spanish Classes for Beginners

Dates: 6/24 - 8/26

Time: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Location: Thurs at Centro LatinoAmericano

Taught by a native Spanish speaker, Centro will be offering Spanish classes for beginners. Thursdays 6:00pm-7:00pm. Ten week course begins on June 24. Cost:$100 for the entire session and we are able to pro-rate payment for the classes.
